Under the hood
Bella Câmbio is Bella Investimentos' FX platform. Operations are executed by a financial institution authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil — Bella Câmbio provides interface, pricing and operational follow-through.
Every operation generates a formal FX contract in the authorized institution's name. The receipt is stored inside your area of the platform, available for the annual tax return.
IOF on remittances is withheld at the operation and the current rate is shown before you confirm each send. Foreign-exchange gains on funds held abroad must be reported in the annual tax return — a tax accountant with international experience is mandatory.
